Data Deletion

Local-First Storage

Most of your data (transactions, settings, category parameters, borrowing logs, and linked contact names) is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data, so we cannot delete it for you.

How to Delete Local Data

To remove all financial data from your device, follow these steps:

  • 1 Open App Settings: Navigate to the settings screen in DeptoFlow.
  • 2 Clear Data: Select "Reset App" to wipe all local database records.
  • 3 Uninstall: Alternatively, simply uninstall the app from your device.

How to Delete Google Drive Backups

If you enabled the Google Drive backup feature, your encrypted backup databases are stored directly in your personal Google Drive account. You can remove these backups using one of these options:

  • Via App Settings:
    • Open the settings screen in DeptoFlow.
    • Select the "Delete Google Drive Backups" option.
    • Confirm to clear your backup files from Google Drive.
  • Via Google Drive:
    • Log into your Google Drive account.
    • Search for your backup folders.
    • Delete any encrypted `depto-flow` backup files.

Delete Authentication Data (Server)

If you want to permanently delete your user profile and authentication data from our servers, please send an email request.
